"Rigby's Farmhouse Restaurant is proud to serve only Quality British Meat"

Rigby's Farmhouse is a 16th century farmhouse belonging to Little Carrside Farm. The farm is still run by the Rigby family with dairy and beef herds. In 1988 the farmhouse was tastefully converted into a licensed restaurant, under the careful supervision of the chef, Louise Rigby. The rooms were left in the conversion to retain a lot of the charm and appeal of the original farmhouse.

Farms are synonymous with good wholesome food - and plenty of it! Rigby's is no exception, with a growing reputation among discerning diners. All our meat is now sourced locally, much of it coming from our family farms.

The menu is always imaginative. Beneath the oak beams onto the tables with their lace tablecloths comes the kind of food one might hope to find in a farmhouse; mixed grill, roast breast of duck and the roast lamb are always popular. Vegetarians are also catered for with a regularly changing menu.

So bring a big appetite to farm!
